The ButtKicker Simulation Kit uses the existing audio signal to create the dynamic and musically accurate tactile feedback that brings simulations to life.
The Simulation Kit is ideally suited for applications where the Gamer2 can’t be used due to mounting constraints.
The included ButtKicker mini Concert transducer is designed to be bolted to a flat surface.
The Sim Kit requires a suitable connection method to go between the bare wire ends of the short transducer cable and the bare wire ends of the supplied speaker cable. If you don’t want to mess around with tricky wire nuts or terminal blocks, then you can upgrade to the *Connector Upgrade option which comes with professional connectors already installed for a complete “plug and play” solution. This enables a quick-release option if required and the amplifier should always be turned off before disconnecting.
As the amplifier input is mono RCA, the optional MLC-1 stereo to mono converter allows both L & R channels of a stereo output to be summed safely if required.
The kit comes complete with all the necessary cables and a set of six RI-4 isolators are also included to maximise the tactile effect. Our version also includes a pair of Wago connectors which allows quick, tool-free connection to the extension cables thanks to convenient lever technology.
